F430 Challenge Car

Roberto Fata's F430

Global Motorsport Technologies, Ltd. Is very proud to have played a role in Roberto Fata and Alfred Caiola’s 2008 F430 Challenge season.

GMT was given access to the Ferrari of Long Island F430’s of Mr. Fata and Mr. Caiola in order to create a professional driver development tool. After meeting the team at Road Atlanta for an initial data gathering session, GMT set out to model the F430 Challenge car in exacting detail. The 3D model was created with our intense attention to detail. Every aspect of the car has been recreated in order to completely replicate the feel and aesthetics that make an F430 Challenge car a unique and incredibly quick vehicle. The physics incorporate every tunable element of the car in the exact increments used by the engineers to tweak the car in real life.

With the completed software in place we then worked with each of the drivers until the proper setup and overall feel of the car in their simulators matched what they experience in their real world F430 Challenge cars.

GMT would like to thank Roberto Fata and Alfred Caiola for the opportunity to be involved in their 2008 race effort. We are very proud of what was achieved during the course of this project.

Congratulations to Roberto Fata on his 2008 F430 Challenge Championship.

Fata took the Championship by winning 4 of the 13 rounds, averaging a 3rd place finish throughout the course of the season and only finishing outside the top 5 in one round.
